Feeling pretty blessed that I’ve been able to do what I love and capture these really special memories for this family. I’ve known Ally for years (you may remember the session I did for them back in 2017) and we’ve been trying to get together for another family session for the longest time! Something always came up – our schedules, illness, whatever could happen to jeopardise a shoot, did. Well! Ally was the winner in the competition I ran a few weeks (months?) ago and we were both super excited. It was a sign that we were finally going to get the family session we’d been wanting! I also wanted to try out a new location, and the spot turned out to be brilliant! We headed out a few days ago and the result was a great session, with lots of laughs and tickles. Mr Ez was super cool and cheeky. He did so well! It’s always a worry that a little kid will be tired, cranky…just generally wanting to do their own thing, right? Not Ez. He was really great. He loved Pig the Pug (I always bring him along to sessions with kids, because he farts LOL) and we got some great shots with him and Pig and bubbles! But wait. Let me show you some of my favourites from the afternoon.
So yes, feeling pretty blessed right about now! Isn’t he a cutie pie? I remember my boys being that little and that cute (how I miss those days!) and when they’re challenging now as teens, I remember the wonderful moments we had (still do, right??) when they were littler. Isn’t that the point of capturing these memories? Part of it? Looking back to those moments when things were simple, when little things made them happy and chuckle. I hope these memories are truly happy ones for you, Ally and Trent! Enjoy your sneak peek!
