When the light is perfect

When the light is perfect and you have to check out a new location…and your assistant has to pose for shots. Jason came along to Sam and Nathan’s family shoot to help out as assistant and on our way back, the rain cleared and BOOM! I stopped at a spot I’d always wanted to check out. The light was perfect, the rain had stopped and the location was hidden and bushy and green! Just near out house. Unfortunately, I think it’s actually somebody’s front properly lol And also not big enough to host an entire family…hmmm Take a look. I squeezed Jason in among bushes and trees lol He was freaking out that the owners would alert the police or something. Seriously. >.>

Probably one of my favourites from the set! <3

I’m always thrilled to get pics of my kids. Especially when the light is perfect HAH! I remember when he was little, around the age of 3/4 perhaps and we were out at friends for a BBQ and catchup. I had my camera as usual and kept shooting him and his brother while they played and wrestled. I called to him for the umpteenth time to look up and his response was “No, Mummy. I no love you take photos!” Awwww and look at him now. My little man <3 These are going into our 2018 Family Album. I’ve been doing an album for the family for the last few years now. It’s so easy to do with the advent of all the social media print applications. I save these ones to go to the print lab too, for our walls and their scrapbook albums (which I SORELY need to update!). Don’t be the person who takes heaps of pictures that aren’t EVER printed. PRINT THEM! These moments go too quickly. Capture the memories.

PS stay tuned for this little man’s Fortnite birthday party post. It’s bigger than Ben Hur! lol
