The Clampett-Warren Family
The Clampett-Warren Family
I’ve known the Warrens for some 8+ years. They were my first clients way back in June 2008! Jess was a cute little 2-year-old and Matt was a chubba-bubba! It had been a while since I’d done a session for them (I’d done several since that first shoot) and then Lo! Glenda got in touch with me, to book an extended family photography session as a gift for their mum’s 80th birthday! What a lovely surprise. I was thrilled to be asked to capture some more memories of their family. We booked a mini-session for the Warrens for just before the extended Clampett family session.
I had Mr Schmoo with me to help out with gear and to hold my reflector as the light kept changing (thankfully, it didn’t rain!) and we’d moved locations (LOVE this location – it’s so diverse!!). 5 Children and 8 adults make for a fun and somewhat challenging family session! We struggled to get the littlest one to smile or even look at the camera until one of the uncles stood behind me, baring a belly to make her laugh!
You can imagine the hilarity that ensued. Soooo many outtakes were had – we were laughing so much! One of our shots was photo-bombed by the littlest one too!
What a lovely family. They made me feel at ease, were willing to try a few different things and poses – just the perfect clients to have, really! :)
