The chair project

The chair project is my first restoration project (restoration?) To be clear, it didn’t need restoring, but the original colour wasn’t working for me :P Simon got out some sanders (who knew it would only need a light sanding?? Not I…) and left me to it o.O Hmmmm…perhaps I should have googled a few YouTube videos or something LOL! I think I was a bit overzealous with the sanding (belt sanders would do that, you know!) At any rate, I sanded it, primed it and then sprayed it white. Here are the before and after shots:

Getting there

I got my main man, Mr Moo (AKA Thing 1) out with me to location scout and found this great Community Hub called Hymba Yumba with the loveliest back garden complete with veggie patch and kiddie play gym in one corner. I’d brought the chair along, so we got it out (how that must have looked to passersby!) and I got some shots with Matt modelling (quite happily too, I might add!).

I can’t wait to use “the chair” in a proper session! I have one particular session coming up that it will be perfect for, but you’ll have to wait and see!!
