The Billiau Family

Meet the Billiau Family. Mel contacted me asking about a family session, but it needed to be soon because Bub number 3 was due after Christmas! We made a booking for just after Christmas and met at one of my favourite locations. Mel, Dan and their two kids, Jimmy and Evie were just the funnest family ever! The little ones were super cute and had my Jason quite busy as the shoot progressed. It really was an all-in-one shoot, because we wanted to get some maternity images in the mix as well!

The weather was perfect – not too hot at the time, the view spectacular, what more could we ask for? Oh. The midges. We did not account for the midges. Lucky Mel and I weren’t really bitten haha – just really itchy from being on the grass. Dan and Jason however, oh my hat. Talk about bites galore! What’s a photographer to do, hey? I should have brought insect repellant! And Stingose!

Oh well…these are a selection of my favourites from the session. Soooo hard to pick – always! Take a look.

 

Evie loved the bubbles – she ate some and then blew bubbles lol Mr Jimmy was utterly charming. We got some really great shots of him playing peek-a-boo. Such a great little man. I’m sure both her and Evie are thrilled with their new little brother.

Melissa has since had her littlest man, Lachlan. Absolutely divine little human being! <3 Mel and Dan, thanks again for picking me to capture your family’s memories. I wish you everything of the best with your little family and for 2019!
