It’s been a whileeeeeeeee! I know, I know. I’ve been a bad blogger *giggles* It’s just been crazy busy in the last few months. I think I blinked and it was suddenly August!!?? Even though I still need to update the site with all the bits and pieces of the last few months, I’d be remiss if I didn’t post about my boy’s birthday and semi-formal. It was a busy week, with the usual family and work commitments and then also gearing up for a certain someone’s 17th birthday. It just so happened that his last Year 11 retreat day was in the morning, his formal the evening and of course the weekend would be filled with birthday party shenanigans.

I arranged with the mothers of his buddies to meet at Queen’s park in Ipswich to get some pre-formal photos before they headed off for the night. We had limited time with light as the formal was only at 6.30pm and sunset was at 5.30pm. Jase and I got there earlier to take advantage of the light. I got shots of the other boys as they arrived with their partners. Some of them arrived too late to get single shots, but I did manage a few crazy group ones hehe
