A cutie patootie turned ONE!
A cutie patootie turned one and I was asked to photograph his special day. The weather threatened to let us down, with rain all morning (the storms have been so frequent these last few weeks!). With the party to be held outdoors, there was a serious moment of panic as a Plan B was organised. Luckily, the rain let up (I was actually sweltering in jeans during the party – it turned out to be so hot!) and festivities went on as planned.
The lucky little guy had a farmyard theme, thanks to his mum (Owner of YOLO Planning Events). A little park was transformed into a farmyard, complete with farm animals, pony rides, little chicks for petting, wooden kart races, old-fashioned lemonade stand, popcorn and candy floss machines amongst other things. Dorothy Dinosaur and Peppa Pig were among the few celebrities to stop by. The cake smash was adorable and messy and all the other kids took it as a sign to join in! The more the merrier, eh?
