Welcome to the blog and thanks for stopping by! This is my spot to share sneak peeks from recent photography shoots and the goings on in my life. My family and friends also feature quite often on my blog, so if you want to know about the happenings in our lives, this is the place to check!
Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, we emigrated to Brisbane in November 2005. My husband (and sometimes 2nd shooter, Simon) and I are parents to two very busy little boys, Matthew and Jason, who not surprisingly are also developing interests in photography.
My children are my main inspiration (and sometimes not-so-willing subjects!!) and since taking the leap into the world of professional photography, I have broadened my horizons to include maternity, family, special occasions and commercial shoots. I am always willing to try something at least once!
Apart from the world of photography and life as a work-from-home mum, I am also a Les Mills bodycombat instructor (as my numerous facebook posts are testament to) and occasionally take on web design work. Yep, life is pretty busy!

This gorgeous little man made the cutest little elf with his teeny-tiny Santa hat ♥ We had some outtake moments (as you do with baby photography – think waterproof props! HAHA) and once he settled, we were able to get some beautiful captures. The other (fur)baby was hilarious! He too, once settled, gave us some great shots! Some of you may remember this wedding Simon and I shot in January of 2009. Well, fast forward nearly two years later, and this little angel has arrived. Baby J – utterly gorgeous, cuddly, with a little bit of serious thrown in :) Here are a few sneeks from the shoot.
